The data demonstrates that Mac OS X Intel grew from a 1.12 percent market share in October 2006 to 1.29 percent market share in November 20006.  The increase represents a gain of 15.2 percent.

The growth was the largest for all non-beta operating systems tracked by Net Applications with the exception of the PSP operating system.

The month-to-month comparison was below the 33.3 percent increase from September 2006 to October 2006.  This demonstrates a slowing rate of increase for the operating system.

Windows as a whole experienced a 6.32 percent share loss while Mozilla Firefox experienced a 52.7 percent increase in the same November period.
