Help, Guides, and News on making the Switch To Apple Macintosh Computers
Best Buy Ad Promotes a Move to Mac
Now that's something I was glad to see, finally the larget electronics retailer in the US is finally promoting Macs in the manner they should be advertised. The advertisement was featured in a San Francisco metropolitan area Best Buy insert.
Joe Leo, Columnist for PB Central explained that the advertisement was introduced as part of a special insert in the newspaper. What's striking is that it was promoted just two-and-a-half weeks after the release of Microsoft Vista.
Leo states, "The cover page features Apple's portable line, with the MacBook Pro on top, and the MacBooks below it". He goes on to state, "You may remember that Apple has sold more laptops than desktops in late 2006 and this equation by Best Buy to place the laptops up in front seems to only corroborate this marketing into 2007."
You can view his article with a photograph of the ad here.
